About TCA Fleet Safety Awards

The TCA Fleet Safety Awards were held at the Truckload Carriers Association Annual Convention, this year marking the 81st year of the awards ceremony. Held in Las Vegas, Nevada truckload drivers working for companies in the TCA were represented at the event. Among all of the trucking companies represented at the industry awards, only two rose to the top of the ranks.

Truckload Carriers Association President, John Lyboldt, said, “TCA is honored to recognize Grand Island Express and Bison Transport for their incredible safety achievements. These carries exemplify a safety-first ethos by their commitment that every member of the organization, at every level, must prioritize safety above all else. They are not merely complying with safety regulations – they are creating a comprehensive culture of safety.”

The grand finale of the awards celebration will be held on June 2 to 4, 2019 in Memphis, Tennessee. In fact, the Truckload Carriers Association will be hosting their 38th Safety and Security Division Annual Meeting at Graceland this year.
